I would like to present you another video from Bulgaria, also from myhome.bg . It shows the amazing region of north East Bulgaria. I am currently looking for images and will soon publish a very detailed Article on this region. One of the very little beatuful holiday appartment complexes is built there. This is one of the few places where the authentical Bulgarian Nature was saved.
I just found this great video on the website on Bansko Blog. There you can read the whole story behind the video. I hope to be able to work with author of the Blog and with the creators of the video.
Hi everybody, my name is Nikola Petrov and I am the author of this website. It is currently a website, but I am sure shortly we will be able to call it community. I am a Bulgarian, but I live in Germany for quite a lot of years. I could see that all over the internet there are hundreds of websites offering countless Bulgarian real estates to foreign citizens. Unfortunately there are quite a few that really try to be supportive for the people who already have a real estate. Obviously after you buy a property, you are not that of an asset for them. As a Bulgarian living abroad I got tired of listening to people complaining from this behaviour. I could not change it, but at least I could start an open project helping the property owners.
Driven by these thoughts, I scratched on a big piece of paper, a few ideas. First of all, some kind of a country manual is needed. In this manual, I thought, would be very nice to have information on regulations, after buying , selling, traveling, embassies, the whole property management, furnishing, renovation and so on. Then I thought a bit of a magazine style would be very nice. I am automatically thinking of architectural digest, but let’s be real. Generally it would be nice to put a few articles on living, architecture and gardening. Third would be to get know you with the real Bulgaria, not the one from the prospects. As I understand, most of the people bought a house or off-plan apartment without visiting Bulgaria. It is a bit of disappointment probably when you first take off the plane and see that the beautiful green loan is actually burned golden grass over a meter high. So a very big part of the articles would be on culture, places and history of Bulgaria, mixed together with all opportunities for sports and leisure activities. Last but not least very interesting would be the business opportunity in Bulgaria. This highly explosive subject is in my humble opinion the most interesting. I see quite a lot of hatred and disappointment in the most of the homeowners and I do not really know who should we blame for this situation?
So you see the project is very ambitious. At this point I am working alone and would like to ask for some help and give you the chance to become a contributor for “HolidayHomeBG”. Currently the website is a non-profit open project, so no money reward can be offered. At some stage, we could think of a financial solution, but this was never the main point and will never be.
Finally I would be very happy to hear some ideas, come proposals or criticism. I would be very happy to see some more registered users here.
Sincerely
N. Petrov
Ryanair will be flying the route Plovdiv – London. Later on a few more destinations are expected. This is a very nice news, especially for the apartment owners in Bansko. Plovdiv ist the second biggest city in Bulgaria. It is situated southly from ‘Stara Planina’ and it was an important cultural and transportational center in Roman times.
